Exiftool by phil harvey6/3/2023 Again, you can use the Firefox Customize feature to add it's button (I keep it on my bookmarks toolbar) so you can just click on it and see Exif info. ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line application for reading, writing and editing meta information in image, audio and video files. So, the list can be very lengthy, depending on the camera model (but it has summary sections with more basic info, too). Jeffrey's appears to give you about every maker note tag you'd want (even the ones it doesn't know how to to interpret yet). ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line application for reading, writing and editing meta information in a wide variety of files. That comes in handy without needing to download the image and use either ExifTool or ExifTool GUI to see lots more about it. If you have more than one image on the page you're viewing, then just right click on an image and select "View Image" and it will open it in a new tab so you can click on the button for Jeffrey's Exif Viewer and see more info. The button uses some javascript to pass the currently viewed image to Jeffrey's Exif Viewer. Basically, you can use the Customize feature in Firefox and add a button for it in your address bar. So, that can make it easier to see lots of tags in online images (or use the browse button to load local images). Note the comment about it in this old blog post. Note that Jeffrey's Exif Viewer is using Phil Harvey's ExifTool on the backend. ExifTool by Phil Harvey is the most comprenesive tool available for reading, writing and editing meta information in a wide variety of files.
